The Weighted Woolly

If almost any experienced angler is asked what fly they would pick if they could only use one for the rest of their angling days, almost all of them would say the woolly bugger. It can be used to catch pretty much every type of fish because it can imitate almost anything that floats by a hungry. This one is special in particular because it has lots of extra weight to it so it cuts through the water. This streamer can be dead drifted under an indicator like a nymph or fished like any other streamer.
